We apologize for not blogging the last few months- as of today on forward we will be blogging for you daily.

Big things are coming up this week! For those of you who have yet to experience our Red Abbey Mini-Concert Series it’s every Sunday (tomorrow) night at 6pm PST. Fans from all over the world are able to tune in- we stream the show live over the internet: http://www.livestream.com/redabbey Let us know your cover requests and RA song requests and we’ll rock out all the tunes you want for the hr show:).

Yesterday was a fun filled shopping day! We are gearing up for all our new looks for the upcoming Red Abbey photoshoot with Eric Ita on Thursday 12/15. So far got some rocker ankle boots- vintage leather jackets, shredded up some shirts, bought some more make-up for the guys lol it should be a fun shoot.

A new tradition we will now always have is posting our favorite song of the day/evening for you:). The song we’ve had on repeat is “Tighten Up” by one of our favorite artists The Black Keys. Next Friday the 11th is the Hard Rock Battle of the Bands finals for Vegas! We have made it past two other rounds and are now in the top four! If we can win this round we will than go on the regionals and possibly get the change to open up for Bon Jovi and the Hard Rock Calling Festival in June. :)

It’s official- Red Abbey is back touring the West Coast next month of December! We have shows lined up for San Francisco, Eugene OR, Tacoma, Olympia and Seattle!

We head back to LA next wk for the last few days of our album recording- than it’s off to mixing and mastering! New video of our album process will be posted later today- stay tuned!

It’s been a hectic month so far, been driving back and forth between Vegas and LA every few days to work on our album! So far we’ve tracked all the drums/bass/sax/main vocals & rhythm guitar. We still have to add violin/vocal extras/solos…and than start the mixing process :)

We will release “The Day After” Jan 29, 2011 and will have three album release parties; in LA, NYC and Vegas -dates & show details to come.

We are taking a break from shows this month because of the album, but don’t worry December we’re back in full swing, with another west Coast tour, you can check out dates at http://reverbnation.com/redabbey.

Had such an amazing last two days in the studio. Yesterday we were at Serenity West Studios again and finished tracking the rest of our bass/drum/ rhythm guitar tracks.

We are about to record our new album “The Day After,” but we need your help! We have the music but need help with the funding-
We have an amazing producer on board some of his previous artists include: Beyonce, Michael Jackson, Missy Elliot, Steve Miller Band and Ill Nino.
This new album will showcase Red Abbey’s edgier style and sound along with some of our EP songs revamped.
Throughout this project we will give fans exclusive updates/videos and sneakpeeks of new songs. All fans who donate will also be able to vote to which song is the first single released off the album that will be made into our next music video. Everyone who donates $20 or more will also recieve a pre-released autographed album before our album release date.

We had a great second day in Washington- interview with KGRG radio, some fan giveaways- working on putting together some Red Abbey shows/events with them for early next year, stay tuned for details. Tonight we played in Seattle at 88 Keys met some awesome promoters, considering maybe doing a second Red Abbey tour to WA next month or early December ;) …

Tomorrow and Saturday we head to Milton and bring the funk/rock to Cedarwood Dome- 9:30 show, before that we plan to be all touristy and go out and explore Seattle, if you have any recommendations for places please let us know! That’s it for tonight, 3am, more tomorrow- keep it rockin’

We made it up to WA- got in to Tacoma early this morning, was a loooong 20 hr drive.  Had an awesome show tonight at Hell’s Kitchen, it was nice to meet some of our fans that have been wanting us to play in WA:)- they’ve been very supportive.

Tomorrow we have an interview on a local radio station and than bring the funk/rock to Seattle- 88 Keys in Pioneer Square. We will take the stage 9pm, all you Washingtonians in the area come out should be an amazing night!

We’ll have some new footage from tonight’s show up tomorrow, stay tuned we may show a sneak peek of one of our newest songs:). That’s it for tonight, been a long past two days with only a few hrs sleep…more tomorrow
